Instructions

    • 1

Clean your eyelid of any existing makeup. Apply eye or facial cream to your lid to prevent smudging.

    • 2

Smooth a thin layer of liquid foundation onto your eyelid from the lash line to the brows. This creates a smooth base so eye makeup lasts longer, and prevents creasing with cream eye shadow.

    • 3

Apply a layer of the lightest color powdered shadow to the entire area, from the crease to the brow bone. Use a medium-width eye shadow brush. Apply a thicker layer at the crease, and gradually decrease the amount of shadow up to the brow.

    • 4

Apply a medium-color shade from your lash line to your eye crease. Blend it into the lighter shade with a wide, fluffy eye shadow brush.

    • 5

Apply a dark powdered eye shadow to your lash line with a thin brush. If you prefer a deep-set, smoky look, apply the dark color along the crease of your eye. Blend the dark eye shadow with the medium and light shades by adding the medium shade to your lid.

    • 6

Dust a light layer of pressed powder on top of your eye makeup. Apply eyeliner and mascara.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always clean brushes and sponges after application to remove oil and makeup buildup and prevent infections. Never apply eye makeup if your eyes are infected. Never share eye makeup, including shadows. Crème eyeshadow applications works best using the fingertips for application. The heat from the skin helps soften the crème eyeshadow to allow for easier application.
