How to Dye Blond Hair Darker

Things You'll Need

• Red hair dye
• Medium-brown hair dye

Instructions

1. Choose a hair dye with very red tones. This is a necessary first step; if you apply a brunette dye directly to blond hair, the result will very likely be green hair.

2. 

   Apply the red dye to your hair, following the instructions on the box closely. Complete each step as directed.

3. Choose a medium-brown hair color. Ones without red tones are best.

4. 

   Apply the medium-brown hair dye, again following the instructions on the box. Complete each step as directed.
