The Total Gym 1500 makes a space-saving home exercise unit that can be folded up and stored in a closet or underneath the bed. As you fold your Total Gym 1500, take care that there are no loose parts or accessories still attached. You'll need to remove and store these accessories, like the wing bar and leg pulley accessory, near the rest of the machine.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Pull out on the hitch pins fastening the wing and leg pulley accessories to your Total Gym 1500. Remove the accessories and store separately.

  2. Step 2

Attach the arm pulley cable to the underside of the glide board by its spring-loaded O-ring.

  3. Step 3

Pull the height adjustment "C" pin out of the height adjustment column. Carefully lower the rails until they rest on the back crossbar, then lower the height adjustment column all the way down to its lowest position.

  4. Step 4

Locate the spring loaded pin on the column end of the unit, in the bracket at the base of the left rail.

  5. Step 5

Pull this spring loaded pin out, fold down the vertical height adjustment, then release the pin. Listen to make sure it snaps back into place.

  6. Step 6

Lift up at the center of the exerciser until it folds completely in half.
