How to Program a DVD Master Remote to a TV
When a home theater system is set up, one of the components is a DVD player that includes a remote in order to use the unit. Many of these master remotes can be set up or programmed to work with many types of existing televisions. Programming a DVD remote to work with a television helps to eliminate at least one remote that will no longer need to be used. Most newer DVD players also act as a receiver and have various buttons that can be programmed on the remote.
