How to Delete the Search History on an iPod Touch

The iPod Touch's capability to connect to wireless networks makes it a useful device for browsing the web in addition to being a music player. You can bookmark websites, check email or do any variety of things that you can on a normal computer. And, like a normal computer, the Search History of your iPod can become cluttered. Learn two ways that you can clear the Search History on your iPod Touch.

Instructions

    Clear the Search History Through Settings

  1. Step 1

    Tap the "Settings" icon.

  2. Step 2
     

    Tap the "Safari" option.

  3. Step 3
     

    Tab the "Clear History" button.

  4. Step 4

    Tap "Clear History" to confirm that you wish to remove the history.

  5. Clear the Search History Through Safari

  6. Step 1

    Tap the "Safari" icon.

  7. Step 2

    Tap the "Bookmark" icon.

  8. Step 3

    Tap "History."

  9. Step 4

    Tap "Clear" in the lower left-hand corner.

  10. Step 5

    Tap "Clear History" to confirm that you wish to remove the history.
