Things You'll Need:
- Foam 10- to 12-inch wreath ring or heart
- Silk full roses and rosebuds, at least two dozen each
- Wire cutters
- Hot glue gun
- 1 yard half-inch wide ribbon
-
Step 1
Place foam ring face up on a large work surface.
-
Step 2
Lay 18 inches of ribbon on to the work surface. Bring the ends together, with the center forming a large loop. Lay the wreath form on top of the center of the ribbon.
-
Step 3
Pull the two ribbon ends up over the wreath ring and pull through the loop. This secures the ribbon around the top of the wreath on both sides. Tie a knot in the ribbon ends at the middle back of the wreath top. Tie a second knot with a loop in between the knots to create a hanger. Trim the ribbon to hide it behind the wreath, or tie a shoelace bow to finish it.
-
Step 4
Cut the wire stems of the full-bloom rose blossoms to 2-inch lengths with wire cutters.
-
Step 5
Push the wire stem of one full bloom rose down into the foam. Be sure it is firmly in place.
-
Step 6
Push the remaining full-bloom rose stems randomly all over the foam shape. Try to keep them at an even height. If any of them feels wobbly, apply adhesive with a hot glue gun to secure.
-
Step 7
Cut the rosebud stems at 1-, 1 1/2- and 2 1/4-inch lengths. Push them into any bare areas in the foam wreath. Fill the wreath in well to finish. A pink or white bow is optional.
