How to Make Jewelry With Crushed Crystals
Crushed crystals, when used on jewelry, give the texture of sand with a shine. While crushed crystal is pretty, it is nearly impossible to make jewelry with it. However, using crushed crystal to enhance jewelry is much easier. With crushed crystal you can turn a basic bangle bracelet into a flashy piece of jewelry or a plain silver earring into a shimmering light catcher.

1
Spread the crushed crystals out on a paper towel. You don't need to spread them from corner to corner, just enough that you have a pile of crystal pieces as big as the jewelry you are working with.
-
2
Use the toothpick to apply jewelers adhesive to the piece of jewelry you are decorating. You can use a swirl pattern, fine lines or whatever design you choose. You can even completely cover the piece for an encrusted look.

3
Place the jewelry with the adhesive side down into the pile of crushed crystals. Roll it and turn it until all of the adhesive is covered with crystal pieces.
-
4
Place the jewelry aside and let it dry for 2 hours. This gives the adhesive plenty of time to bond with both he original piece and the crystals.
-
5
Repeat this process for any jewelry you wish to apply crushed crystals to. While your jewelry is drying, you can simply fold the paper towel in half and use it as a funnel to place the crystals into a container for safekeeping.
