How to Clean a Crystal Ball

Crystal balls can be made from a variety of substances from glass to quartz crystal to lead crystal. Some own crystal balls because of their beauty and conversational value, while others believe they have powers and more practical uses. Regardless of the reasons you may have a crystal ball, the process of cleaning one is the same.

Things You'll Need

• Dish soap
• Warm water
• Clean lint-free cloth

Instructions

1. Carefully set your crystal ball on a towel either on the countertop or in a sink.

2. Use a dishcloth to wash the crystal ball with a mild dish detergent and warm water. Even though the surface of your crystal ball is likely scratch-resistant, it is a good idea to use a non-abrasive cleaner.

3. Rinse the crystal ball well.

4. Dry the crystal ball with a clean, lint-free cloth being careful not to touch the ball with your fingers.

5. Place the crystal ball in its holder using a cloth to avoid getting fingerprints on it.
