How to Make a Litchi Martini
A cool, flirty martini is the perfect cocktail for lounging by the pool, throwing a party or enjoying before a big night out. Litchis, or lychees, are a delicious Asian fruit that provide that extra bit of pizazz needed to spice up a more traditional, fruit-flavored martini. Utilizing your personal liquor cabinet and a few easy ingredients from a grocery store, you'll have guests wondering where you went to bartending school. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Martini glass
- Shaker with strainer
- Ice
- Vodka
- Club soda
- Jar of Litchi with Litchi juice
- Litchi liqueur (optional)

Place a martini glass in the freezer to chill. Place 4 ice cubs, 2 oz. vodka and 1 oz. club soda in the shaker.

Open jar of Litchis. Pour 1 oz Litchi juice into the shaker with ice, vodka and club soda. Add a splash of Litchi Liqueur if you choose.

Shake all ingredients together in shaker for 10 seconds. Remove the martini glass from the refrigerator and strain the ingredients into the glass.

Remove three litchis from the jar of litchis. Cut two halfway open and place them on the outside of the martini glass. Place the last litchi in the martini glass for extra flavor and showmanship.

Tips & Warnings
For stronger litchi martinis, replace some of the litchi juice with vodka. For sweeter martinis, replace the vodka with litchi juice or add Litchi Liqueur. For a denser litchi martini, remove or lessen the amount of club soda.
