How to Create a Payroll Check Stub
A payroll check stub can be created in any format, so long as it contains all the information an employee needs to verity he or she has been paid correctly. That's often fair amount of information, but if you're systematic about it the process isn't terribly painful. It's simply a matter of creating an entry for each relevant point and putting it on a piece of paper.
Keep in mind that payroll is very complex, and mistakes in payroll can sometimes carry stiff penalties both from the government and from civil suits. If you have any doubts about payroll, consult a professional until you no longer have any.
This article assumes that you have complete and accurate tax, wage and benefit information for each employee.
