Access the Cardiovascular Nursing Certification Exam outline at the American Nurses Credentialing Center (see Resources). The outline will indicate how many of each type of question you can expect on the exam. It also provides an overview of how the exam is graded.

Take a sample Cardiovascular Nursing Certification Exam (see Resources). The practice test consists of 25 questions and can be evaluated right after taking the test. The sample test questions are very similar to those found on the actual exam.

Purchase a Cardiovascular Nursing Review and Resource Manual (see Resources). The manual contains a review of cardiovascular nursing topics, such as assessment, disease manifestations and basic theory. The manual also contains exam review questions with explanations.
