Things You'll Need:
- Citrus-based cleaner
- Cotton rags
- Q-tip
- Plastic knife
- Tuff-Stuff cleaner
-
Step 1
Allow the White Out to dry completely. This should take about 10 minutes.
-
Step 2
Scrape the dried White Out with a blunt-edged tool like a plastic butter knife. Try to remove or loosen as much as possible without pulling threads or fabric from the furniture.
-
Step 3
Determine if the White Out is water or petroleum based. Rub it with a damp clean cloth. If it is water based, the stain should soften and dissolve with the damp rag. If the stain remains unchanged, it is probably petroleum based.
-
Step 4
Apply a little citrus oil based cleaner with a Q-tip. Rub the cleaner and try to remove the stain. Consider testing the cleaner on an inconspicuous spot first to make sure it does not affect the color of your furniture.
-
Step 5
Apply a little upholstery cleaner like Tuff Stuff. Spray on the foam and let it sit for 1 minute. Wipe the area in a circular motion with a cloth rag. Blot the spot dry with a dry cloth rag to remove any excess moisture.
