Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Drill
  • Flat-head screwdriver
  • Drill bit
  • Goggles
  • Keg regulator
  • 4-foot hoses
  • Shank
  • Gas cylinder
  • Faucet
  1. Step 1

Take out all shelves and drawers from your fridge. Measure the height, width and depth of the inside of your refrigerator.

  2. Step 2

Buy an appropriately sized keg. Although kegs come in a variety of sizes, the most common are the mini-keg, the quarter barrel and the half-keg.

  3. Step 3

Find a suitable place on the inside of the refrigerator door to drill a hole completely through from the front. This should be near the top of the door, a couple inches down.

  4. Step 4

Place the shank into the newly drilled hole from the front and secure it with a nut on the inside of the fridge door.

  5. Step 5

Place the CO2 tank and the keg inside the refrigerator, and attach the hose from the gas tank to the keg regulator. Use a flat-head screwdriver to ensure that the hose is securely attached.

  6. Step 6

Attach the faucet to the shank and tighten the nut clockwise.

  7. Step 7

Attach another hose line through the shank from the keg.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not set the PSI on your gas tank too high for your keg size. Follow the recommendation that comes with the conversion kit.
