If you have Steel or Aluminum Windows and you would like to paint them to go with the rest of your building, then this article will help you choose the right paint for the job!

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    For Painting Aluminum or Steel Windows inside your home or office building, there are quite a few types of paints that you can use. To help you determine which paint you would like to use, please see step 2 and step 3

  2. Step 2

    In this step I will list off the types of paints that you can use on aluminum and steel windows that do not need a primer or sealant before painting: Rubber based paint (not latex), Aluminum Paint, Metal Primer, or Catalyzed Enamel

  3. Step 3

    In this step I will list off the types of paints that you can use on aluminum and steel windows that do need a primer or sealant before painting: Semi-gloss (latex), Flat (latex), Semi-gloss (Alkyd), or Gloss Enamel (Alkyd)
