This natural body scrub works to help clean pores and help remove excess oil in the skin. For the astringent, you can either use something store bought, or a homemade astringent.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/3 Cup Ground Oatmeal
  • 1/3 Cup of Almond Meal
  • 2 Teaspoons of Sea Salt
  • Astringent
  1. Step 1

In a small bowl, stir the ground oatmeal and almond meal together.
If you don't want to buy almond meal, just grind about 20 almonds in a food processor or blender. And if you only have regular oatmeal, just measure the oats out and then grind in the blender or food processor as well. Then add in the sea salt and combine.

  2. Step 2

Once all the dry ingredients are mixed together, pour in a tablespoon of astringent. You want to get the mix to become a thick paste, so continue slowly adding a few drops of astringent until you reach the desired consistency.

  3. Step 3

When using the scrub, use as you would your regular facial scrub. I suggest using a dampened towel to help massage the scrub into the skin. When you're done applying it, let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing off with warm water.
