Things You'll Need:
- Bleach
- Measuring Cup
- Washing Machine
-
Step 1
First, you will need to separate all of your whites from your colored clothing. Make sure that you do not accidentally include clothes which are colored into your pile of white clothing.
-
Step 2
If you have a bleach dispenser built into your washing machine you will want to pour the bleach into the dispenser. If you do not have a dispenser, you will want to add the bleach into the washer after the washing machine begins to fill with water.
-
Step 3
If you are trying to bleach a large load of clothing you will want to add in one cup of bleach. If you are trying to bleach a medium sized load you will want to use 1/2 cup of bleach. If you are trying to bleach a small sized load of white clothing you can use 1/4 cup of bleach.
-
Step 4
Do not bleach spandex or clothing with elastic bands.

on 7/20/2009 Whenever I bleach my white shirts they get a yellow stain in some areas. How do I prevent this from happening and do I get rid of the stains that are already there?
