Being the President of the United States is a huge responsibility. In that position, he makes decisions each and every day that affect us, our children and generations to come. It is important that we put aside our likes or dislikes, agreements or disagreements with the President and pray for God's guidance in his every decision.

We must ask God to instill wisdom in the heart, mind and soul of the President and ask that he stay focused on one agenda and one agenda only - what is in the best interest of the United States and its people.

The Bible instructs us to respect those in authority. That does not mean only if we agree with them - it means to respect those in authority over us. Our President was not my personal pick for the job, but he has the job and it is our responsibility to pray for him that God would use him in a powerful way to lead our nation.
