If you're a Blackberry user, you may also be a BrickBreaker player. This Pong-like game can keep you playing for hours. Here are some ways to beat the levels and impress your friends.
Things You'll Need
- Blackberry with the BrickBreaker app.
- Time on your hands to be addicted!
Use the paddle to move from left to right to aim a ball at bricks. Some bricks require multiple hits to eliminate. Throughout the game "pills" drop down that feature various boosters that can enhance your play. Avoid the dreaded flip pill.
Practice with several rounds of playing to learn how you can manipulate your paddle to create the correct angles to break the bricks. Think of how you can use the surrounding walls to create the angles that will maximize the brick damage, as in a game of pool.
Use the laser pill whenever possible as it is among the most effective. It gives you more points per brick broken and it has unlimited firepower.
Use the gun tool. The gun tool also has tremendous value. Worth 50 points for every brick broken, the gun tool breaks the brick (including the unbreakable silver bricks) in only one aim. They are also handy because the laser cannot get through the silver bricks or be angled.
Avoid the flip pill whenever possible. This pill causes your controllers to reverse. This means you have to adapt very quickly to the changes in the controllers. If you cannot avoid it, work with is as best you can until you get another pill, or beat the round.
Decide which pills you prefer so you can make quick decisions about whether to go after another pill while you have one in play.
Build up as many lives as possible before you get to level 16, one of the most difficult in the entire game. This level features a U shape of silver bricks with bricks inside. Use the Catch pill on this level if possible.
