Craislist is one of the best know sites on the internet. It's mega classification list helps you find just about anything your are looking for. It is the modern day market place, where you can buy and just anything. Try Craigslist in advertising your writing skills.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Maneuvering Craigslist: On Craigslist you can find anything from a free dog or cat to finding a new job. Do a Google search, putting in your city after the word "Craigslist". Next go to the writing/editing section.

  2. Step 2

Locate an opportunity: Look to see if anyone is advertising writing or proofing jobs. If you find someone who is looking for a writer, respond by e-mail. Ask all the question you have about the position. Do not give out your address or phone number until you are satisfied that the ad is legitimate.

  3. Step 3

Posting an ad for your services: If you are a freelance writer, or feel that you are a capable enough writer to pass for a freelance writer, you can advertise your services as a writer on Craigslist. Be specific about your area of expertise. Once you are contacted, discuss your fee and services offered.

Tips & Warnings
  • Never pay for a writing job
  • Caution: Never meet with anyone on Craigslist alone
