Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with this festive drink! Sangria is easy to make and tastes delicious. Suprise your friends this Cinco de Mayo with a fruity sangria. Sangria can be made for any occasion, and is a nice, refreshing summertime drink. This recipe makes a large pitcher of sangria, which serves about 4 to 5 people. It can be doubled if more is needed.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 12 oz Red wine (merlot, pinot noir or table wine)
  • 3 oz Triple Sec
  • 3 oz Apricot Brandy
  • 6 oz Orange Juice
  • 4 oz 7-up or lemon lime soda
  • Sliced red and green grapes, apples, lemons, oranges
  1. Step 1

    In a large pitcher, add the wine, Triple sec, apricot brandy and orange juice. Stir together.

  2. Step 2

    Slice about 1/2 cup red and green grapes, 1 orange, 1/2 lemon, and 1 apple (remove any seeds). Add this sliced fruit to the pitcher and gently stir.

  3. Step 3

    Refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving. When you are ready to serve the sangria, add the lemon lime soda, as well as some ice and gently stir. You can also add some ice to the individual glasses. Garnish each glass with a slice of fruit, such as orange or lime. Serves 4-5
