How to Make Multiple Strand Stretch Bracelets

  • Stretch cording
  • assorted beads
  • spacer bars(If making multiple strands)
  • Beading needle(with large center hole)

      First lay out your beads in the pattern you are going to use. Then decide if you are making a one strand bracelet or three or more strands.
      If you are making more than one strand use spacer bars with the correct amount of holes.

      You will need one piece of cording for each strand.
      Measure the size of your wrist and add 5"-6" for tying.
      Thread on the spacer bar and one bead. Wrap the thread around this bead several times to hold it securely while you work.Thread on the rest of the bead pattern. Tie it the same as the other end -with a bead until you finish.

      If making multiple strands complete the other strands.
      When your strands are complete. Just tie the ends together with a double knot and trim the excess cord. The knot will disappear in the beads.
      If you made multiple strands you will need to place at least 2 beads on each cord on the outside of the spacer bar before tying it off.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you do not have a bead board - create your pattern by placing beads on a piece of wire and transfer the neads to your cord one by one.

  • Tie ends securely.
