Recycling is one of the best ways that we can all help improve the environment. Thus, we should practice this on a regular basis. Not only that, but we should encourage those around us, such as our neighbors.

In reality, not every neighborhood has strict rules for recycling. I live in an apartment building and the rules weren't enforced until recently, yet many people still don't recycle.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

I believe the best way for everyone to learn is by practice and example. Your neighborhoods might not understand the whole concepts of recycling, especially if they are immigrants. I know back home in my country, no one used to recycle or even mention this word.

  2. Step 2

Thus, you should set an example for them and show them what recycling is by doing it yourself.

  3. Step 3

Then, you can try to educate them on this topic and why it's so important for the environment. Explain to them how simple recycling is and that they can do it in a breeze.

  4. Step 4

Praise your neighborhoods when you notice them throwing the regular trash and the recyclables. Believe me, no matter how old they are, praise will work like a charm. It will give them a sense of accomplishment and of doing something important. This will make the chance of them repeating the action greater.
