There are many types of eHow Groups. Choosing an eHow group to help with your articles or interest is very important. If you utilize a writing group, it can benefit your article ratings and in turn, you can help others too.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Sign into your eHow account. Go to 'community' then 'groups'. Look at the overview of all the groups to get an idea of what kind of groups are on eHow. If you don't like any group, consider starting your own.

  2. Step 2

If you locate a group read all about the group if it is posted publicly. Once you have chosen a group that has the same interest as you then join by clicking the Join this Group button.

Below are just a few of the many groups available, there are many more to choose from, feel free to check them all out.

  3. Step 3

Immediately, post an introduction or the appropriate information the group requires. For instance, the group called the eHow Writer's Guild is a unique group that welcomes all eHow writers to see how much money other eHow members are making and how many articles they have.

  4. Step 4

Some groups are set up for daily activities such as the Daily Rate and Read group. Members read new articles and offer comments, tips, and advice on writing and give articles a 1-5 star rating on a daily basis. It is not a group that just reads articles and give all high ratings as some often believe. It is a serious group of writers who want to create the best articles possible.

  5. Step 5

The Army Moms Support group is a group of mother's of soldiers who offer support for one another during their child's station or deployment away from home. They meet whenever they have something to post. It is very relaxed on rules. Whatever group you decide on will be a community of support in one aspect or another.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure the group you are with does not have a hidden agenda. Never give personal information to others that you do not know well.
