**What kind of job do you want?**
Write a prayer list of the type of job you are looking for in this economy. List all the different types of positions you are hoping to find. List the employment opportunities based on your level of expertise. -
Step 2
**Ask others to pray, too**
Discuss your need for a job with family, friends and neighbors. Ask them to pray for you and your family. Also, ask them to pass your resume along to prospective employers. -
Step 3
**Spend time asking God**
Designate an hour per day to spend time with God. Tell your Heavenly Father exactly what you need to provide for your family. Open your Bible and find scriptures that will encourage you daily. -
Step 4
**Pray every night**
Kneel down at the foot of your bed every night. Pray to God for His help with your job situation. Ask God to give you the patience, knowledge and wisdom to find a new job. -
Step 5
**Pray every morning**
Pray again in the morning as you eat breakfast. Pray when you search online for a new job and also pray while reading the classified section of the newspaper. -
Step 6
**The local church**
Meet with your pastor and ask him to pray for you too. Seek guidance as to how you can find work quickly. Volunteer at the local church while you are searching for work. -
Step 7
**Have faith in God**
Pray for a new job with the hope that you will find work soon. Have a positive attitude and truly believe that prayer does work. Rely on God to keep you healthy and ready to work when that job offer finally comes.
