Women are always on the hunt for the perfect concealer to hide their imperfections. There are many different forms of concealer but the one that most women shy away from is stick concealer. If it's not used properly, it won't blend well with your foundation and powder. Here are some tips on how to make stick concealer undetectable.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • concealer stick
  • makeup sponge
  • concealer brush
  1. Step 1

Begin your application with clean, moisturized skin. Moisturizer will help to smooth out the concealer.

  2. Step 2

Never apply the concealer directly from the stick. Try using a concealer brush instead. If you apply it directly from the stick, you will inevitably use too much of the product and it will become difficult to blend.

  3. Step 3

Blend the concealer with clean fingers. The heat from your hands warms up the product, making it easier to blend.

  4. Step 4

If necessary, gently pat (don't rub) the concealer with a makeup sponge to remove any excess.

  5. Step 5

Once you've received your desired coverage, continue with the rest of your makeup regimen.

Tips & Warnings
  • Stick concealer should be applied before your foundation.
  • A little goes a long way.
  • Don't layer your concealer. If you're not happy with the initial application, then completely remove it and start again.
  • Too many layers of concealer will only accentuate the imperfection that you are trying to hide.
  • Not recommended for oily skin
