make CAKE MIX super moist
make CAKE MIX super moist

Next time you buy a boxed cake mix, mosey on down the aisle and also pick up a package of instant pudding! I will show you how to add the pudding to the cake mix so your cake will be super moist!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • any flavor boxed cake mix
  • any flavor instant pudding
  1. Step 1

Prepare the cake as directed on the box. After you are done mixing the cake add the box of dry instant pudding. Now mix the cake just a bit more until the pudding powder is mixed in.

  2. Step 2

Pour the batter into the cake pan and bake as directed on the box of cake mix. You follow all the boxed cake directions. The only thing you do differently is add dry instant pudding to the mix as the final step.

  3. Step 3

Using pudding in the mix will make your cake super moist! And it will also add flavor. You can buy a pudding that compliments your cake (like chocolate cake with chocolate pudding) or you can mix up flavors for an extra special cake (like yellow cake with banana pudding). You can also add a teaspoon of any flavored extract to your cake mix for extra flavor... with or without the pudding!

on 11/2/2009 always remember when buying a mix with pudding in the mix or if you add the pudding yourself, it will draw/shrink more than normal. be mindful of that. it's not ruined it just shrinks it up.
