How to Get Rid of Dandelions With Items From Your Kitchen

Dandelions are the little yellow flowers that little girls find so beautiful and we, as adults, just want to get rid of. A lawn nightmare disguised in a pretty yellow package. Do you want to get rid of dandelions from your grass and garden? If you want to get rid of dandelions, but don't want to buy dandelion killer full of chemicals, look to your kitchen! Here is a way to get rid of dandelions with items from your kitchen.

Things You'll Need

• white vinegar
• dish soap
• spray bottle

Instructions

1. Gather together your ingredients. You will need: 1/2 gallon white vinegar, 1/2 lb. table salt, 6 drops of dish soap.

2. Mix the vinegar and the table salt in a pan on the stove. Bring to a boil. Make sure the salt is dissolved into the vinegar completely.

3. Remove from the stove and stir in the dish soap.

4. Allow the mixture to cool.

5. Pour into the spray bottle.

6. Spray, using the "stream" into the middle of a dandelion.

• Be sure to avoid spraying other plants and grass that surround the dandelions.
