Things You'll Need

  • 1 head of broccoli
  • 6 to 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
  • 8 ounces cubed sharp cheddar
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Salt and pepper
  • Large bowl

Instructions

      Cut the leaves from the stem of your head of broccoli.

      Remove the stalk from the end of the broccoli.

      Wash the broccoli head to remove any chemicals.

      Chop the head into small flowerets and chop the stem into small pieces.

      Place the fresh chopped broccoli into a bowl and add the bacon, cheese, raisins, cherry tomatoes and onion to the broccoli.

      Combine the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, and salt and pepper to taste in a smaller, separate bowl with a whisk and stir it into the broccoli mixture.
