Acne and breakouts are a part of life, but there's ways to help prevent acne or breakouts by making a few basic changes to your lifestyle.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

One of the most common triggers of acne and breakouts, is stress. If you have issues with stress that you believe may lead to breakouts, you should try and find healthy ways to deal with your stress.

  2. Step 2

Another common reason for breakouts is allergies. If you have random breakouts, with no cause you can think of, you should consider seeing a doctor. Lots of times the only reaction people will have to a simple food allergy, is having breakouts after eating that food.

  3. Step 3

If you don't drink enough water, it's well known that this can cause dry skin. But it can also lead to clogged pores, which is part of what causes acne and breakouts. Be sure to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.

  4. Step 4

You should also be sure you have a decent diet. Vitamins and Nutrients are necessary for a healthy body, and healthy skin. If your eating habits are bad, you should work on your diet. But at the very least, start taking a proper multi vitamin. I also suggest you start taking a vitamin that is made specifically to help with the quality of your skin.
