How to Make Filipino Cornbeef
Let's face it. Food is part of our everyday life. I want to share with you how to make cornbeef filipino style. It's very simple, cost effective, and delicious! Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- One can of cornbeef
- quarter onion
- one small tomato
- chopped garlic
- 2 beaten eggs
- salt/pepper
- Olive oil or PAM
Instructions

1
-Take a skillet and put it at medium heat while adding some olive oil to coat the pan
-
2
-Chop up a quarter onion, one small tomato, and a clove of garlic

-When the pan is warm enough, go ahead and proceed with adding your chopped garlic. Leave that simmering for about 10 seconds and continue by adding your diced onion into the pan. Once the onion has cooked for about 30 seconds you can add your small chopped tomato into the pan and let that cook for 15 seconds.

-Open your can of cornbeef, and cut half of it and add to your mixture of garlic, onions, and tomatoes. Mix the cornbeef until soft and moist. You have the option to add some salt and pepper if you desire. While this is simmering, make sure to have 2 beaten eggs in a bowl. When the cornbeef has cooked for about a minute, add the entire mix to the 2 beaten eggs. Mix this around in the bowl so that the meat will be coated with the egg.

-Add a tablespoon of olive oil to the pan at medium heat. When you have mixed the cornbeef with the egg, you basically will decide how big of a patty you want to make. Do this as your discretion. Add as little or as much of the cornbeef into the pan. Let it sit for about 3-4 minutes until the edges are cooked enough to be able to flip onto the other side. Cook this side until you have a nice patty. Continue the same process with any excess cornbeef mix. This will be one of the most delicious things you will ever eat.

-You can always eat this filipino style cornbeef with fried rice, scrambled eggs/overeasy egg, or make a sandwich.
