    Half-Dollar - 50 Cents

    Giant Size
50 Cents to buy a prize!

  7. Step 7

There are several different ways you can make these little songs your own, maybe adding extra verses, words, etc.

I will do the following "extras" to make learning more fun!

    * I will usually sing the Dime song in a high-pitched little voice to help remember, little voice - little coin.
    * I will also sing the Quarter and Half-Dollar songs in Big, LOUD Voices! It's very important to show young children a Half-Dollar as many kids have never seen one!
    * I will also talk about the Presidents on the coins and important things that they did during their presidency.
    * You can also talk about the back of the coins (although several have different backs due to newly circulated coins.) This will help remembering them by just looking at the reverse of the coin.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be careful allowing small children to handle money as they may pose a choking risk.
