How to Use Coupon for XOOM Money Transfer in the Philippines and other Countries

If you are using Xoom for online money transfers to Philippines and else where, try using coupons to save on service fee. Assuming that you have already used your account and had sent money online.
I never use coupons before, but after using it for online purchases, money transfers or to buy products online, I was very thankful that I got some savings on service charge and others.

Instructions

1. Login to your xoom account.

2. Do your transactions like typing the amount of money, recipient name and address, etc.

   Click on the 'Have a coupon code?' link.

4. 
    

   Look for the coupon code box

5. Click apply and the page will appear as the picture below.

   Copy and paste your xoom coupon:
   sendandsave
   
   Notice that the service value was set to zero.

7. 
    

   On the final step, the service fee is $8.00 and your credit is also $8.00. Therefore, you are not paying for the service fee.

Tips & Warnings

• You can send xoom money transfer using your US bank account, credit/debit cards and paypal.
• You can use the code once, if lucky you can use it twice.
• Find the latest xoom coupon codes and repeat the process.
• Some xoom coupons: genhalfxfer , HALFOFFNEW , NEXT1FREE , search for more
• Some coupons are not reliable. Make sure that you have check the transaction amount and the total charges before you Authorize the payment.
