Step 1
If you already own a lot of video games, buying video games for cheaper can be much easier for you. Start off by looking through your collection of video games and find the ones that you do not play anymore. Just because you don't play them anymore, doesn't mean someone else wouldn't like to. Once you have found the games that you would no longer like, look for a local video game store in the area. Most of them will either let you trade them in for money or store credit. Typically if you choose store credit you will receive a larger amount than just opting for cash.

Step 2
The great thing about store credit is you can use it for anything in the store. That means new video games, old video games, video game systems, or whatever else they sell in the store. It can also be used to preorder games. After you have made a decision on what you would like, go home and start playing your new game. But remember when you finally beat the game, or just get tired of it, you can do the same thing again and make some extra money. This can make buying video games much more affordable. While you do have a to give up a few of your games, you can always trade back later if you choose.
-
Step 3
Another great spot to buy video games is on ebay. You can get some games much cheaper than in a store. Be sure to check the store's prices before you buy it off ebay to ensure that you are getting a good deal. Because while sometimes it may seem like the video game you are getting is cheaper, after shipping and handling it is not.

Step 4
Also there are websites that offer a monthly membership to play video games online. But before joining make sure that the website is legitimate and that the website offers the games that you want to play. Because it is pointless to join an online website, if all of the video games are bad or do not work well with your computer. So see if they offer a free trial.
