Learn to put your best foot forward and improve your confidence and performance during the interview. Just being beautiful alone is not enough, so you must prepare for hard work. I'm going to outline for how to prepare and win your beauty pageant.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Have confidence, but try not to behave as if you are the best girl in the pageant and you just can't be beat. Arrogance does not win beauty pageants. Always be willing to learn from your own experience and contestants around you. Never act like you are the best at everything. Others around you will easily know your weaknesses.

  2. Step 2

Do your homework. Research the contest that you are entering. Know what it represents and what it stands for. You should be able to answer any question that anyone throws at you about this event. Never let anyone think that you're just a pretty face. Stand out not only by beauty but by intelligence. If you have to, memorize a little.

  3. Step 3

Be prepared for whatever. Carry a heated styling tool just in case your curls come undone. Purchase a small sewing kit to keep on hand just in case you have a tear or rip in your outfit. Have a hand mirror on hand just in case. Dressing rooms are always crowded and the last thing you need, is to be rushed. Also carry a stain remover pen just in case you spill something on your outfit, or get makeup on it accidentally.

  4. Step 4

Arrive on schedule. Being on time shows your promptness and your motivation. The early bird gets the worm. Never let anyone still your spot.

  5. Step 5

Be courteous to your fellow models. Do not bad talk or speak negatively towards anyone. This shows that you feel there is too much competition for you and it shows your insecurity. Never get caught in between gossip or chit chat, its bad for buisness. Also, show respect to the organizers and the judges of the event, they make the final decision.

  6. Step 6

Make the event a fun one. Even if you don't win, try to be as positive as possible. There will be other pageants that you can win.
