Begin by using gentle exfoliating treatments on your chest and back. You can use salt or sugar scrubs bought from the store or may your own at home. These types of treatments are not gentle enough to use for your face that is why your back and chest require a different approach to address the issue. You can make your own exfoliating scrub by using sugar or salt mixed with an oil. I would recommend tea tree oil which is natural oil known to help with the treatment of acne. It works by killing bacteria. Massage the exfoliating treatment over your chest and your back. If this is too hard to do for your back, use a loofah sponge with a handle attached

Be as gentle as possible with your skin. Our first instinct tells us to scrub as hard as we can to fix the problem, but this will only make it worse. Be sure that if you exercise regularly or sweat, cleanse your chest and back afterwards. Exercising not only produces sweat, but it produces oil. Leaving this on your skin can cause your pores to become clogged and trigger a breakout. Also, beware of tight fitting garments around your chest and back which can induce perspiration.

Use a body spray that treats acne. These types of acne medications come in a spray bottle and after cleansing, let the area dry and you should spray directly on your chest and back. Clinique makes a body spray and so does Murad, but they may be others out there. Be sure to keep your bed linens clean to prevent dirt and oil buildup. Drink plenty of water and good luck!
