      cec

First you Need to decide what inflatable company you want to go with. The big three are cutting edge creations, einflatables and ninja jump. I personally use cec but you can't really go wrong with any of these companies. Do not settle for the cheap units out there, You really do get what you pay for in this industry.

      Tuff handler

Next you need to buy your bouncer about 1,700 dollars including shipping and the blower. A handcart, I use the tuffhandler brand hand cart because its longer lip makes moving these things easier. I also made 4 custom magnetic car signs on the internet. You also should have 500 business cards made up look around for online print shops they have the best deals. Five hundred cards printed and shipped cost me 7.95. You also want some kind of date book for booking. Your start up should cost 2,000 dollars give or take, there are many ways to raise capital, you can use savings,401k or if you have a good credit score a bank loan.
      Summary of cost
      Bouncer (1700)
      Hand Cart (100)
      Car Magnets (80)
      date book (10 dollars)

You should also get familiar with setting up inflatables, taking them down, safe locations, and you need to teach quick lessons to the person in charge at the party on how to safely operate an inflatable. My bouncer came with a video that I make all of my customers watch.

Now that you have your equipment your going to start marketing, You should start by renting the bouncer out for free to two different people. The business cards should go in the pocket thats sewn into the unit. The beauty of this business is that your units do most of the marketing work. After the first 2 free rentals I booked 3 parties for 120 a piece.

Now that you have got a decent start you need to look into getting insurance and getting liablility waivers. I have a solid rental agreement with a liablility waiver that makes the rentee responsible for what happens on there own property when im not present.

Now when you pay off your first unit via rentals go right out and buy one more. But make sure you dont go over board. I currently only have 3 but I rent all of them out every weekend. I didnt quit my day job but a couple hundred bucks a week is enough to keep me happy!
