How to Write To The President of the United States
With President Obama trying to open up the White House and make his administration more accessible to the public it is a great time to write or call the White House with your ideas, concerns and questions. It doesn't matter if you are a Republican or Democrat, it just matters that you are a US citizen and you have a right to voice your opinion. Don't be afraid to write to the White House, someone will see your letter and hopefully you can make a small impact. Contacting the President and his administration is better than doing nothing.

Don't rush into your letter to President Obama or other staff members at the White House. Think about what you want to say and do some research that may support your questions, concerns or ideas.

The third way to contact the White House is by telephone. You can call the main switchboard on 202-456-1414 or you can call the White House comment line on 202-456-1111.
