How to plan a second marriage.

   Weddings are very exciting events and it should be celebrated as a special day. However, in today's society Divorce and re-marriage is a common occurrence. If you were married once and are considering taking that plunge for the second time, I have a few suggestions that you may want to follow. Many people consider a second marriage not as important as the first one. In addition, it may be wise to keep the second marriage a small and intimate affair.

2. 

   First, you should keep your list of invites between 50-75 people. It would be more appropriate to purchase a wedding type gown but not in white. They have some beautiful wedding dresses which come in various colors blue being one of the more popular. I would keep the wedding party at a minimum. A best man and matron of honor should be sufficient.

3. A church wedding is appropriate even for second marriages, but that is your decision. Some people feel it is absolutely necessary to be married in the eyes of God no matter what. To cut back expenses I would suggest don't do a wedding video. Some pictures of the event would be sufficient. Remember this is the second time down the isle. Immediately following the ceremony, a sit down dinner in a nice restaurant is an idea. One reason I suggest keeping the wedding low key is because a great deal of people spend tremendous amounts of money on a first wedding, it is not necessary to do it again.

4. Finally, I would not suggest hiring a limo for the wedding especially if you had it the first time.
