Step 1
CHOOSE DAY OR OVER NIGHT CAMP - Summer day camps are fun but the kids are picked up at the end of each day. Many children may prefer a day camp. Day camps usually have a theme such as basketball, arts and crafts, archery, etc. Night camps add an addition level of fun to summer camp. Camp fires, skits and hanging out with their friends for a week is great fun.

Step 2
CHOOSE A WEEK - When choosing the week for your child make sure you account for any family events that may be taking place that week. Your child may not want to miss out on another event to go to camp. This could cause some anxiety for the child.
-
Step 3
CHOOSE A CAMP - When you are choosing a camp ask a lot of questions. You will want to know what your child will be doing throughout the day. Will they need cash with them. Will they be fed meals and snacks and have access to water? Who will be supervising? If they are staying overnight you should ask even more questions.
