Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

First have the pillow you want to cover and lay down on the table or floor.
Put material under pillow with right sides of material together.
Measure around the pillow and give room for the cushion material.
Draw around it or with pins - pin where you want to cut the design.
Round or circle or whatever shape you are making. Make sure you leave an inch extra of room with material to sew up.

With right sides of material together sew up 3 sides on sewing machine if it is a square. Or you can sew by hand with a needle and thread matching the background color of the pillow material.
If you are sewing tassels or something fancy like piping pin that inside on right side of material and sew up when you sew the two right sides together.

If you want to make something fancy as in the picture - leave some extra room in material when you measure for these slit sews. Pin the material
on the right side with not right sides together and sew approximately 1/8"
    little seams like the picture.

If you want to sew button designs on do this very first on good sides. See picture.
