How to Make a Brochure Using Word

Making brochures is a snap when you use MS Word. Here is the How To and some great tips.

      There is more than one way to make a brochure in Word. The fastest way is to use the template feature in MS Word.

      Go to File, New. On the right side of the screen select Template on my machine. At this dialog box select brochure. Then a ready to go brochure opens up. Using this template, you can create a professional brochure.

      Another fast way is to go into word and use the help feature. Type in brochure and you will see links to download brochure templates on the right side of your screen.

      Select the type of brochure you want and it will link to the internet ms office website. There you will find templates ready to go without you doing any formatting. Download, edit and print.

      Another way is to create a landscape page with 3 columns. To do this you go to File, Page Setup, Landscape. The select three columns on the column button off of the edit button bar.

      The middle column is the back, and you fold in a tri fold type brochure. Then add text and images as needed.

      Use Word Art to add emphasis. Try images and drawings for interest too.
