Instructions

First, always keep the eyebrows groomed. Thick, unkempt brows will weigh down the eye, making the brow bone disappear completely. Enhancing the brow bone is the key to making the eyes appear larger.
*In between waxing appointments, maintain their shape by tweezing any stray hairs.

Using a shadow brush, apply the light beige shadow to highlight the brow bone; avoid a stark white as it will look to overdone. This is the area above the crease of the eye to just beneath the brows.
This lighter shade will attract the light, making the area look brighter and larger.

Next, apply the basic brown shadow to the entire lid. This will go from the inside corner of the eye to the outside corner, going no farther up than the crease.

Now you will apply the dark brown to the crease and outer corner of the eye. A good trick is to 'follow the eyeball', this will give you the natural shape of the crease.

You will now apply the liquid eyeliner. This takes a steady hand so be sure and practice first!
Make a thin, smooth line with the applicator; avoid making the line too thick as it will actually make your eyes appear smaller and closed in.

Next, curl the lashes with your eyelash curler and apply a volumizing black mascara.

Tips & Warnings

  • For the rest of the face, go neutral and keep the lips a natural soft tan or warm peach. Make your eyes the main focus!
