Things You'll Need:
- Old T-shirt
- Scissors
- Water Bottle
- Hair Spray
-
Step 1
2x10 Inch StripsYou will need about 2 to 3 hours from start to finish to have beautiful curls that will last all day. Start by using an old unwanted cotton T-shirt, cut the T-shirt in 2x10 inch strips.
-
Step 2
Roll Hair UpNext, dampen your hair with a water bottle; grasp about a 2 inch section of hair, place the end of the section of dampened hair in the middle of one of the 2x10 inch pieces of cotton strips. Using your fingers; start rolling the section of hair up around the cotton just like you would if it were a curler.
-
Step 3
All Hair Is In RagsOnly roll up as far as you want the curl to be. Tie the two ends of cotton together until it is tight and the hair is secure. Do this until all hair is in rags. Use less hair for tight curls, and more hair and time for loose curls.
-
Step 4
Keep the rags in your hair for at least an hour and until hair is completely dry. To take the rags out, just untie the pieces of cotton strips, roll them out just like you put them in (have someone help if possible.) If your curls are too tight, you can loosen them by spraying a little water on them. Spray hair with hair spray for a better set.
