Fenugreek has been used for many centuries to help women increase their breast milk supply. It usually takes a few days to start working, but can take up to 2 weeks for some women. Below are some different ways to introduce Fenugreek into your diet. All products mentioned can be found under Resources below.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Fenugreek is easiest to find in the pill form. When taking it in pill form you should start out by taking two per day, then slowly increase this until you're taking 2-3 pills 3 times per day. This should depend on the success you have up until that point.

  2. Step 2

The second easiest way to take fenugreek is to drink a fenugreek based tea. If you decide to drink tea you should drink the tea three times throughout the day. I suggest looking for a tea that lists Fenugreek in the first 2 ingredients.

  3. Step 3

Fenugreek can also be used in baking. You can find it ground, or even just purchase the dried fenugreek seeds. One popular way to eat fenugreek in Greece is to add it to yogurt. If you don't like the taste, I suggest adding it to a granola or cereal mix.
