In this tutorial you will be instructed, how to make rows with a rototiller. it is one of the easiest things in the world to do, depending on the type of tiller you happen to be using. Some tillers make the work easy and other work YOU, like a mule.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • First you will need one rototiller of your choice and brand name. Two you will need to mark off the piece of property that will be tilled and planted.
  1. Step 1

Start by tilling up all the around in which you ground to plant . Bust up all the big clods of dirt. by busting up the big clods of dirt you will save yourself time when actually making the rows.

  2. Step 2

Once the ground has been prepared you are ready to start making your rows. I have found that it is easy and the row will almost form themselves if you start on 1 side of the garden and work your way across.

  3. Step 3

Start on 1 end of the Garden and till a strait line down to the other end. While tilling make sure that you do not move forward until tour soil is at the consistency that you want it. This is up to you Some folks like theirs to look like coffee grounds and others like it like clumpy. My preference, is like coffee grounds, I find it easier to plant.
As you till you should turn the tiller at a slight angle this will kick the soil up into a pile and will start forming your rows. When you have reached the end of the Garden, turn the tiller around and follow the same tips. At the end turn and look, you should have a perfect row for planting.

Tips & Warnings
  • Once the ground has been till up and before you start your rows, the ground should be fertilized.
  • Please refer to the owners manual of the rototiller in which you use, because it may not be the same brand as the one I use and may require a different operation.
