    The first year of marriage for a young couple should be a celebrated event. There are a host of things that you can do to make this an exciting and memorable celebration. First, plan on eating at home by candlelight. Prepare a special dish such as, Broiled Lobster, Prime Rib, Baked Potatoes with Butter, Sour Cream, and Chives.

    For this special celebration you could splurge and spend $30 for a bottle of good champagne. make sure you chill the glasses in the refrigerator or freezer prior to serving. Exchange cards with one another. The card should express exactly how you feel about your significant other. In addition, it would be nice to write a little note inside the card, three beautiful words are "I Love You".

    Finally, comes the very top of the wedding cake that you were saving in the freezer for this day. make sure you defrost the cake at least 2 hours before serving. You could place two candles on the cake and make a wish together. Romantic evenings at home are much nicer than eating at a restaurant. To make the atmosphere more romantic, you could play some soft music in the back round.
