Things You'll Need:
- snacks
- games
- more
-
Step 1
Depending on where your soldier is stationed will matter in what you send him/her. If he is stationed somewhere in the states where he is close to stores then your selection of items that you send may want to be a little more unique.
-
Step 2
However if he is stationed somewhere far in the middle of nowhere then basic supplies should be selected. You want to send him/her some of their favorite snacks. Something that will not spoil just in case it takes weeks for them to receive it.
-
Step 3
Items to occupy their time is also appreciated. I remember sending my soldier a hand held game system and numerous games. It helped him to relax and make time go by a little faster. Also some music cds or perhaps an ipod would be great too. A bible for encouragement is also a big must.
-
Step 4
Just make sure to think about where your soldier is located and what he/she really enjoys. Also don't just send one package. A soldier especially in a distant country really look forward to receiveing packages. This is a great opportunity to show him that you are thinking of him and really care.
