Yes You CAN Get To the Second Stock Data!

It used to be that the only way to get stock quotes in real time on the web was by subscribing to a payware service. Google, who has been turning this World Wide Web inside out and upside down for the past few years, has recently made real time stock quotes available on the Internet!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a computer
  • Internet connection
  1. Step 1

    Go to http://www.google.com/finance

  2. Step 2

Enter the name of the company you want to track in the text box. For instance, to find out the Ticker Symbol and get your quote and a chart for Apple Computer Inc stock price, just type 'Apple'. If more than one company shares the name you typed, you will get a list where you can pick your quote. Click 'Get Quote' and leave the page open for real time updates.

  3. Step 3

For even more options, set up a Google account here: https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount
Sign in, then go back to the previous step and click on 'Add to Portfolio'
You will be able to perform transactions and will have access to even more tracking tools.
