How to Make Sweet Bridal Shower Treats

Make these sweet bridal shower treats for a spring or summer shower. These two pastel colored sweet treats are fun to make and just right to serve your guests. Also included in this article is a suggestion for bridal shower favors.

Things You'll Need

• whole strawberries
• milk chocolate candy melts
• pastel colored candy melts
• microwave-safe bowl
• cut-out sugar cookies
• umbrella cookie cutter
• white icing
• pastel colored icing
• icing decorator bag
• small writing tip for bag

Instructions

1. Chocolate Covered Strawberry Instructions:
   Dip strawberries 1/4 of the way up from the bottom in pastel colored candy melts that have been melted in microwave. After the coating has hardened, dip the remaining of each strawberry into the milk chocolate. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.

2. Umbrella Cut-out Cookie Instructions:
   After rolling out your cookie dough, cut with the umbrella cookie cutter. After they have baked and cooled completely, lightly frost the top with white frosting. Using a small writing tip in the decorator bag, randomly place tiny polka dots with pastel colored icing. These are great sweet bridal shower treats for spring.
