-
Step 1
Do only one thing at a time. Stop driving, while talking on the cell phone, and texting your friends, and eating breakfast, and applying make-up, and fixing your hair. Who says you have to do it all?
-
Step 2
Create a simple "mix & match" wardrobe using items you already have. Limit your color scheme. Every piece of clothing should go with every other piece of clothing.
-
Step 3
Don't buy clothes that need to be dry cleaned. It saves money and time.
-
Step 4
Drink only water. It saves money, and is better for your body.
-
Step 5
Cancel any commitments that you dread, and any obligations that you really don't enjoy. Ask yourself whether you feel you should do it, instead of really wanting to do it.
-
Step 6
Learn to say "NO" - at work - at home - with family - and with friends. Don't take on any additional projects or tasks.
-
Step 7
Stop getting the fake tan and the fake nails. It saves money and time.
-
Step 8
Consider renting instead of buying. Big houses come with big mortgages, lawn maintenance, home repairs, remodeling, and property taxes.
-
Step 9
Quit the gym and go for a daily walk.
-
Step 10
Stop sending Christmas cards. It saves money and time. And who really remembers if you sent a card or not? If your friends get insulted, maybe its time to find new friends.
